Al-Hodeidah .. Discovery of a minefield for the Houthi militia in a residential village in Al-Khokha

The engineering teams of the West Coast mine-clearance announced the discovery of a new booby trapped field for Iran's arm in a populated village northeast of Al-Khokha, south of Hodeidah Governorate.

The leader of Team 26 in Masam's team, Engineer Sami Hamed, said that the field contains dozens of old and varied mines and explosives, which were carefully planted by militias in camouflaged roads, in the middle of the road to Al-Kadah village, east of Al-Khawkha.

He added that the engineering team began to dismantle and remove the field, amid the widespread satisfaction of the villagers.

Heimed pointed out that the discovery, dismantling and expropriation of the field came as part of the relentless efforts of the “Masam” project, and the joint food engineering teams to survey the liberated areas, chiefly the most affected villages and residential neighborhoods along the western coast.

While the joint forces said that they defused a missile remnants of the Houthi militia, which was planted in the Qataba area in Al-Khokha district, south of Hodeidah.

Al-Khokha was liberated in 2017, but the engineering teams of the joint forces, and despite their great efforts to clear mines, are still constantly discovering new fields for the Iranian arm in neighborhoods, villages and vital roads.
