Local sources and eyewitnesses reported to "NewsYemen" in the city of Lawdar in the center of Abyan governorate, the arrival of the dead and wounded of the Muslim Brotherhood to the city hospital following an ambush by the southern forces, in a narrow area in the clashes with the Bakazem tribes, west of the Al-Mahfad district, while some of the wounded were transported to the city of Ataq, Shabwa governorate, adjacent to Mahfad, while four military vehicles and military armored of the Brotherhood militias were destroyed.
The southern resistance in Al-Mahfad district in Abyan managed to carry out a controlled ambush targeting a military convoy of the terrorist Brotherhood militia, in a narrow area west of Al-Mahfad.
An operational source affiliated with the Southern Resistance in Al-Mahfad stated that a military convoy consisting of four military vehicles and a car belonging to the Brotherhood militia, coming from Shabwa governorate towards the city of Shuqra, were subjected to a controlled ambush by the southern resistance in Dhaiqa, west of the district, leaving dead and wounded among the Brotherhood militia.
In addition, the southern resistance pledged to Al-Mahfad to repel and cut off any military reinforcements belonging to the Islah Brotherhood militia in the district.
