On Saturday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, stormed the home of the former leader of the group, Ali Al-Bukhaiti, in the capital, Sanaa, which is under its control.
The politician Ali Al-Bakhiti said, in a post on his Twitter account, that the militia stormed his home and his law firm in Sana'a, and looted their contents.
Al-Bukhaiti published pictures showing Houthi gunmen during a raid and looting of his home, without any legal justification.
Al-Bukhaiti commented on the incident by saying: “The Houthi militants are now in my house facing America, Israel and Saudi Arabia behind sofas, mattresses, kitchen appliances, and bedrooms !!
A group that claims to support the Palestinians is harming the Yemenis more than Sharon abused them! And looted their homes without any legal justification.”
