Aden, Newsyemen:

The Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met, on Thursday, with the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Shakib Rajeh, and the leadership of the bank, to discuss the negative effects that the concrete barriers surrounding the bank had on the old neighborhoods in the city of Crater, which closed al-Aidarous Street, one of the most important streets in the city.

The move of the governor of Aden came against the backdrop of mounting popular demands to reopen the road, whose closure caused increased traffic congestion in the main and secondary streets.

According to the media office of the Governor of Aden, it was agreed during the meeting on the need to lift the concrete barriers that are not needed, especially after the security situation in general in the capital Aden has been stabilized and stable, and only a part of it has been sufficient to secure the bank, and reopen Al Aidarous Street, which is a lifeline for residents of the Directorate of Sira.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Yazid Ahmed, representing the leadership of the Arab Coalition in the capital, Aden, Brigadier General Osan Al-Anashli, Commander of the Asifah Brigade, Brigadier General Jamal Dayan, Director of Traffic Police in the capital Aden, and Director General of Sira Directorate, Ibrahim Saeed Munaim.
