Al-Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

The United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) expressed deep concern about the escalation of violence in a number of directorates in Al Hodeidah Governorate.

In a press release, the mission called on all parties to halt the escalation to avoid a cycle of violence that would lead to more human suffering and loss of life.

It also urged all parties to immediately cease fire and return to the joint mechanisms that were established over the past two years to avoid further endangering the population and the ability to deliver humanitarian aid.

The UN mission is facing widespread criticism because of its laxity and the identification of its position with the Houthi militia, which has escalated widely south of Hodeidah Governorate without the mission working to condemn him despite the human and innocent losses left by the fire of Iran's arm.
