On Monday, the forces of the First Thunderbolt Brigade managed to shoot down a drone belonging to the Houthi militia while it was flying over the southern forces' positions in the north of Al-Dhalea Governorate.
Hamdoun Ghazi, commander of the First Thunderbolt Brigade, said that he, accompanied by his forces, succeeded in shooting down a drone belonging to the Houthi militia in the Habeel Al-Abdi sector in the Al-Fakher front, northwest of Al-Dhalea.
Ghazi explained that the plane was flying over the sites of the First Thunderbolt Brigade and the sites of the 30th Armored Brigade in Habeel al-Abdi, and it appears that it was on a spying mission before it was targeted with a personal weapon and shot down.
The Houthi militia intensified the use of explosive and reconnaissance drones, and called them "the attacker", which have similar specifications to the Iranian Ababil-T plane, according to UN experts.
