Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

“A decision-maker” This is how the activists of Taiz city, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the governor of the capital, Aden, described the Secretary-General of the Transitional Council, and said that its recent decisions are “firm”.

This came during a protest stand organized to denounce the security chaos in the city besieged by the Houthis and under the control of the Brotherhood.

Activists raised banners calling for the legitimacy of appointing Lamlas as governor of Taiz governorate, against the background of his taking several decisions to change directors of directorates and directors of executive offices, which attracted the confidence of citizens.

Activists sent indirect messages to the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, in light of his diminished role and his inability to confront the Brotherhood's system of authorities that dominated the decision of Taiz and turned its liberated areas into a hotbed for armed gangs.

The activists at the protest, which was organized, on Sunday, in front of the temporary headquarters of the Taiz Governorate building, considered the decisions of the Governor of Aden firm, and that he establishes himself as a statesman and decision-maker and wants to do something for the southern capital, "Aden."

The capital “Aden”, on Saturday, celebrated the first change clause approved by its new governor Lamlas, where he issued decisions that changed all eight directors in the governorate.

On Monday, the governor met with the new directors, affirming his protection for those who will fulfill the duties of serving the citizens and reactivating the state institutions, each in his directorate.
