Taiz: A resistance leader and gunmen were wounded by the security campaign

One of the leaders of the Popular Resistance and other armed men was injured as a result of violent clashes between him and the security campaign forces, this afternoon Sunday, in the city of Taiz, central Yemen.
A local source told (Newsyemen), that clashes broke out between the security campaign forces and the leader of the Popular Resistance, Walid al-Ragheef, this afternoon, Sunday, in the al-Kawthar neighborhood in the center of Taiz city.
According to the source, Walid al-Ragheef was seriously wounded, and four gunmen were also wounded, of varying degrees, and taken to Al-Thawra General Hospital for treatment.
The source pointed out that the gunmen from the neighborhood of Al-Kawthar imposed a cordon on Al-Thawra General Hospital for fear that their leader “Al-Ragheef” would be liquidated by the security campaign inside the hospital, as had happened with other gunmen in earlier times.
