Southern photojournalist Saleh Al-Ubaidi received explicit threats of physical liquidation from unidentified numbers
The threats came amid a campaign of incitement against the journalist Saleh al-Ubaidi, activists and media workers in the Islah party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
This comes days after the assassination of journalist Nabil Al-Qaiti, a photographer for the French news agency, "France Press".
Salah Aqel, the Arabic-language RT network correspondent, had received a death threat.
Salah al-Aqel said: "I received threats from unknown numbers ... after the assassination of my colleague and brother Nabil, I received messages say that I will be next."
