Hadhramaut governor reduces the tariff for domestic and commercial electricity consumption

Hadramout Governor, Faraj Al-Bahsni, on Wednesday directed the approval of a discount of 20% of the value of consumption of electricity bills for the months of April, May and June 2020, for citizens of the household segment, and (10%) of the commercial segment.
The Governor’s decision aims to alleviate the citizens in light of the hot summer climate that coincides with the global pandemic Corona, as an affirmation of the permanent position of the local authority alongside its citizens and a sense of their suffering.
Meanwhile, Al-Bahsni instructed the Electricity Corporation to follow up on the collection of previous debts with residents, large consumers and government departments.
He emphasized reducing losses in the distribution network system, and fighting random linking.
