Taiz Governorate agents withdrew from the security committee’s meeting following a verbal dispute between Al-Sanwi and Fadhil

Four of Taiz Governorate agents withdrew from the security committee meeting, which was held, on Wednesday morning, in the provincial headquarters of the oil company.


A source said that Major General Khaled Fadhil, commander of the Taiz axis, accused Wakil Muhammad Abdulaziz al-Sanwi of defaming the national army by publishing news about his attempt to assassinate him, last Sunday, at the al-Hunger Point.

The source added: "A verbal altercation occurred between the two parties, after which the agents Muhammad al-Sanwi, Rashad al-Akhali and Muheib al-Hakimi withdrew, and Ilan Abdel-Haq refused from the meeting, and Arif Jamil and Abd al-Qawi al-Mikhlafi refused to withdraw."


And soldiers accused of the Taiz axis are accused of trying to assassinate Al-Wakeel Muhammad Al-Sanwi, last Sunday, at the Al-Hunger Point, the southwestern entrance to the city of Taiz.

The General Secretariat of the Socialist Party accused "parties that dislike the normalization of life in the city and resort to such cowardly and despicable acts with the aim of mixing papers and dragging the people of Taiz into internal conflicts that distract them from their tasks of completing the liberation of the province from the revolutionaries and restoring the state." Standing behind the attempts to assassinate the first party secretary in the governorate, Muhammad al-Sanwi.


In a related context, the meeting of the Security Committee stressed vigilance, raising the level of readiness of army and security units, and strengthening coordination, cooperation and support mechanisms between military and security units to confront any developments and counter any attacks by the Houthi militia.

The meeting approved banning the movement of motorcycles in the city of Taiz from seven in the evening until seven in the morning starting Wednesday (yesterday), and keeping the security campaign in readiness around the clock to control the evacuees of security and the spread of patrols.
