The coalition announces the interception and destruction of a booby-trapped Houthi boat in the southern Red Sea

 The Arab coalition announced the interception and destruction of a remote-controlled booby-trapped boat launched by the Houthi militia, from Al-Hodeidah Governorate.

 The coalition forces spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, said that this morning, Sunday, the coalition forces detected an attempted imminent hostile and terrorist act by the Houthi militia in the south of the Red Sea, using a booby-trapped boat, which was launched from the Hodeidah governorate.

The spokesman added, that the boat was damaged and destroyed by the Naval Alliance Forces, and said it represents a threat to regional and international security, maritime transport routes and global trade.

 Colonel Al-Maliki mentioned that three marine mines were also discovered and destroyed during the past 24 hours in the Bab al-Mandab strait and the southern Red Sea, bringing the number of marine mines that have been discovered and destroyed to date to one hundred and fifty marine mines that the Houthi militia has planted and deployed.
