The judgment to execute the killer of worshipers in the Abyan mosque

The Court of First Instance in the Lauder District, in the Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, issued a death sentence for the perpetrator of the attack on worshipers in a mosque in the Directorate.


This came during a court session, on Saturday, amid tight security.

Judge Awad Muhammad Hadi issued the verdict in Case No. (5) for the year 2020 AD, in the presence of Prosecutor Muhammad Abdullah Al-Bakhshi, Secretary General Muhammad Abdullah Al-Yafi, and representatives of the security and military apparatus and kin of the victims.

The verdict of the ruling ruled that the defendant, Al-Khader Salim Omar Ahmed Al-Shaibani, should be executed.

The accused had shot worshipers at the Al-Qarn Mosque in the Dethina area of the Lauder District on January 14, killing five people, including his father, uncle and cousin , and wounding eight others, most of whom were his relatives.

After the session ended, the President of the Court went down with the Loader Security Director and the commander of the security belt to the crime scene in the village of Al-Qarn, east of the city of Loader.
