Southern politician and academic Hussein Laqour described on Saturday the Legitimacy Front in Al-Jawf “a black hole that engulfs all military and financial support without the ability to liberate it.”
In a tweet on his Twitter account, Laqour said, "I would not be surprised if news emerged of the fall of al-Jawf in the hands of the Houthi militia, noting that all the confrontations and plays that took place in this governorate were driven.
He warned Marib of a similar fate if its people did not pay attention and corrected the current situation.
This follows the Houthi militia's claim that progress has been made on a number of fronts in Al-Jawf Governorate during the past hours.
Media linked to the Houthis claimed that the militia took control of the strategic 35th armored camp.
