A student in the north of Hodeidah Governorate was killed by a landmine planted by the Houthi terrorist militia next to his school in an area under the militia’s control.

A local source said that the young Muhammad Ibrahim Zayla'i (17 years old), from the village of "Deir al-Wali", which is located in Ras Issa district, south of Al-Salif district, north of Hodeidah, died Friday as a result of a landmine explosion near his school.

The Houthi militia mines claim the lives of citizens in Tihama and the West Coast, and most of the victims are children, women and displaced people, as well as bike drivers, cars and farmers.

Tihama is one of the areas worst affected by the cultivation of mines, devices and explosives of various sizes and shapes, and one of the largest random minefields in the world, according to reports by humanitarian and international organizations.
