Internet returns after repair of the submarine cable "Falcon"

Talal Begash, director of al-Mocha Communications Branch, said that the Internet has returned after a period of days of interruption that subscribers have had difficulty messaging on WhatsApp and other applications.
The technical teams have completed the early stages of repairs to the Falcon submarine cable, Begash said, quoting a source at the Ministry of Communications, which is under the authority of the militias.
He noted that Telemen will issue a statement in the coming hours on the return of internet service.
In recent days, participants have had difficulty messaging WhatsApp after the militia-controlled Ministry of Communications said a break in the submarine cable had occurred, while engineering sources attributed the interruption to the militias' failure to pay the benefits of the Indian operator.
