The combined forces destroyed an artillery store and detonated an armory of the Houthi militia, in addition to inflicting heavy losses on the ranks of its members during the violent clashes that took place in the city of Al-Durahimi in Al-Hodeidah governorate late on Saturday evening until Sunday morning.
The military media of the joint forces confirmed that the artillery of the second brigade, the Republic’s guards, destroyed a new artillery store that was used by Houthi militias with heavy fire during its attempt to break the siege of its members trapped in certain neighborhoods within the city.
The source pointed out that the clashes ended with a severe defeat by units of the joint forces, pointing to the explosion of a militia armory in the vicinity of the target site.
This is the second warehouse of militias to be destroyed by the artillery weapon of the 2nd Brigade, the guards of the Republic, within two weeks at the same front.
