The government of interim President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi considered, on Thursday, that relying on the delinquency of the Houthi militia is a "deceptive and misleading bet", as "the decision of these militias is no longer in their hands while moving according to the agenda and interests of the Iranian regime."

This came in a press statement issued by the Council of Ministers, commenting on what he described as a "hideous terrorist crime" committed by the Houthi militia yesterday evening, targeting the Al-Rawda residential neighborhood of Marib city with a ballistic missile, which led to the death of innocent victims, mostly children and women.

The statement emphasized that "the international and international complacency in implementing binding decisions" and turning a blind eye to these repeated terrorist crimes of the Houthi militia against civilians, children and women encourages it to continue its criminal approach and project, which represents the other side of terrorist organizations led by ISIS and Al Qaeda.

The Council of Ministers stressed that "the time has come for the international community and the United Nations to take a clear and frank stand on these horrific terrorist acts and the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen due to the practices of the coup militias and not being satisfied with shy condemnations."

He explained that "these criminal aggressions and the recent military escalation prove once again the terrorist nature of the Houthi militia and its sectarian project that exceeds the Yemeni borders, in order to serve the Iranian regime that evades international isolation through its agents and arms in the region, including the Houthi militias in Yemen."

The statement pointed out that "the completion of the end of the coup and the restoration of the state and the application of the references of the political solution agreed upon locally and internationally represented in the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanism and the outputs of the national dialogue and Security Council Resolution 2216, is the only way to confront the current and future dangers of this rebel militia at the local, regional and international levels."

In his statement, the Council of Ministers pledged to the Houthi militia that "the militia will pay the price and will not escape punishment sooner rather than later", affirming that "the determination is more than ever, and with the support of the Saudi-led Sharia Support Coalition, to complete the eradication of the Iranian proxies project in Yemen."
