A Qat seller burned his car at a security point, at noon today, Friday, at the entrance to the city of Al-Turbah, the center of the Shamaitin District, south of Taiz Governorate, central Yemen.
A local source said that a new security point belonging to the Special Security Forces forced the famous Qat seller, Amin Al-Haqqin, to burn his car with the Qat it was carrying, at noon today, at the entrance to the city of Al-Turba.
According to the source, the trustee paid a tax in the first point with an amount of 150,000 riyals, and was stopped at the second point, and they asked him to pay a tax, but he refused, and after verbal arguments between him and the individuals of the point, he burned his car with qat.
This incident comes a week after the killing of Qat seller Jamil Mahmoud al-Jamali by gunfire called Abd al-Raqeeb Abdullah, one of the militants of the Muslim Brotherhood's militias in Najd Qasim, Al-Misrakh District.
Dozens of security, military and Muslim Brotherhood points are deployed between the city of Taiz and the countryside of Al-Hujariah, and illegal taxes are imposed on commercial trucks, transport buses, and qat sellers.
