Marriage story writes a tragic ending for a girl northeast of Mocha

According to a local source, the young woman, Fathia Al-Saudi, threw herself into a well in the village of Al-Makhila, which is affiliated to Oslat Al-Jumaah, to get rid of the great psychological pressures she was subjected to.
The source added, the girl could not resist these pressures after her father's wife tried to force her to marry that young man against her will.
It explained, that the girl whose mother died fifteen years ago, preferred to die than marry that young man by throwing herself in one of the village wells, where her head hit the building stones inside the well, and she died instantly.
This dire incident highlights the reality of the girl in some rural areas, where she is forced to marry a person just because the family liked him as a husband for their daughter, even if that stands against the girl's desire and conviction.
