A security official survived an assassination attempt in Abyan

On Monday, a security official in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, survived an assassination attempt, while one of his companions was shot by unknown gunmen.
A security source said, "Muhammad al-Kaldi, the commander of the Dofus point of the security belt, was subjected to an assassination attempt, in the Wadi Hassan area, noting that he survived the operation."
It explained that unknown gunmen ambushed "Al-Kaldi" in Wadi Hassan, and fired a barrage of bullets on his car while he was returning from Sheikh Abdullah coastal area of Zinjubar Directorate
According to the source, the commander of the "Dofus" point escaped the attempt, while his companion Zakaria Muhammad Al-Saadi was injured, and he was transferred immediately for treatment in a hospital in the city of Jaar.
