A tribal source revealed to "Newsyemen", the motives of the attack launched by the Houthi militia, against the village of Al-Massqara, in the Al-Hada region of Dhamar Governorate, in the center of the country.

The source said that the Houthi militia attempted to kidnap a group of Republican Guard officers and force them to participate in sectarian courses.

It added that the Houthi militia had sought, with the campaign, to kidnap a number of officers from the Republican Guards from the village of Al-Massqara in Al-Hada, as a prelude to subjecting them to cultural courses (Shi'aa courses) and then sending them to fight on their fronts.

At the end of last week, the Houthi militia attacked the "Al-Massaqara" village in the Al-Hada District in Dhamar Governorate, and kidnapped a number of children.

A local source told "Newsyemen" that the Houthi militia had moved armed groups on board combat vehicles to the village of "Al-Massqqara", in search of recruits in the armed forces, whom they had excluded earlier.

It added that armed clashes broke out between the residents and the Houthi militia after the militia attempted to storm the village, in search of soldiers from the Republican Guard

It explained that the militia has accused the people of hiding their sons who are affiliated with the army, since before the Houthis took control of state institutions in the year 2014 AD, and it launched a military campaign to storm the area.

According to the source, the Houthi attack on the village of Al-Massaqara, in Al-Hada, resulted in deaths and injuries of the residents, in addition to burning 3 houses.

A source told "Newsyemen" that the Houthi militia had kidnapped a number of children as hostages and left the village after the people threatened to hide their children if they did not extradite the military.
