The Houthi militia prevented the International Red Cross team from entering the city of Al-Durahimi, the center of the coastal district, on the southern outskirts of the city of Hodeidah, after prior agreement and the alliance and the joint forces facilitated the movement and passage of the convoy.
The UN mission in Al Hodeidah did not show any reaction to the prevention and repeated Houthi insults.
The Houthi militia prevented the team from entering the city of Al-Drahami as planned and agreed, and to meet civilians who were surrounded by the militias and taken as human shields, and seized the relief aid that the Red Cross team intended to provide to civilians.
