One citizen was killed and another injured in a shooting between two groups linked to the collection of qat taxes in the Taif market south of al-Darhimi district of Hodeidah province.

One person working in a juice shop was killed on the spot after one of the shots penetrated his body, while another person was injured, the source said.
The victim, whose name was not known, came from the town of Al-Darhimi, from which he fled last year, fearing he would be attacked by Houthi militias, iran's arm in Yemen.
No further information was available on the identity of the injured person and the severity of the injury.
