Gargash: Restructuring the political system is a necessary option for resolving the region's crises

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash said on Wednesday that "restructuring the political and administrative system remains the necessary option despite its difficulty to solve the crises of some countries in the region."
Gargash, in a series of tweets on his Twitter account, said: "I follow the surrounding and disturbing scene in more than one Arab country, and I believe that the reproduction of the crisis experiences will only lead to more crises."
"On the other hand, serious dealing with the demands of the people and the restructuring of the political and administrative system remains the necessary option, despite its difficulty."
He added: “Perhaps the Gulf countries have useful experiences in this aspect; the issue is not limited to material resources, but in essence is the political believes that the needs and demands of the citizen is the compass of the government track and that rampant corruption is not right with the demands of the strong state and its institutions. ''
"What we are witnessing in more than one Arab country are severe structural and living crises that require radical solutions that address the legitimate demands of the citizen. They are not the strong winds that will leave as some decision-makers wish, but a crisis situation that must be dealt with objectively."
