Activists from the southern provinces accused Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, of being behind the assassination of Brigadier Adnan al-Hammadi, commander of the 35th Armored Brigade in the central province of Taiz.

Activists from the people of Hadramout stressed the need to put an end to the evil plots of the Muslim Brotherhood organization, to liquidate the national military leaders, who have taken immortal positions against the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

In response to a “Newsyemen” poll, via WhatsApp, the majority agreed that Islah was involved in the assassination of the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade.

They considered that the assassination of Brigadier Adnan al-Hammadi, and before him Brigadier General Munir al-Yafi (Abu al-Yamamah) proves how dangerous the Brotherhood in Yemen has become, calling for dealing seriously with the organization, which is no different from the global terrorist organizations.

Southern journalist Saleh Abu Awadhal described the killing of Brigadier Adnan al-Hammadi as a "cloning of the assassination of Ibrahim al-Hamdi, when he was assassinated with his brother."

"Al-Hammadi was liquidated in the same scenario, he is killed along with his brother to complete the operation and direct it professionally," Abu Awadhal said in a Facebook post.
