Taiz conference calls for a higher committee to investigate the assassination of Hammadi

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, the General People's Congress (GPC) branch in Taiz province called on interim President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to form a higher committee to investigate the assassination of Brigadier General Adnan al-Hammadi's 35th Brigade Commander.


A statement issued by the branch of the People's Congress, that on the anniversary of the second intifada of December against the preachers of the imamate, homeland was with a painful tragedy.


It added that "the homeland has lost a commanding hero, a great leader, and an important knight of the historic horsemen of the homeland, who rarely exist in time and won’t be repeated."


The statement said: "It is a great tragedy for the death of such a great leader, who had the honor of launching the first spark in the resistance to the clerical coup in Taiz. He was loyal to his homeland, committed to his oath, committed to his military honor in defending the gains of the revolution and the republic, rejecting the injustice and tyranny that the coup militia wanted to impose on the free Yemeni people.


The General People's Congress in Taiz governorate mourned the death of Brigadier Adnan al-Hammadi, commander of the 35 armored brigade and extended their condolences to the family of the martyr, especially his son Akram, Zakaria, his brothers and members of the brigade, and to the people of Al-Hujaria  in general.
