The head of the Southern Transitional Council, Maj. Gen. Aidrous al-Zubaidi, said on Monday, December 2, 2019, “The next stage is the implementation phase of the Riyadh agreement, stressing that all efforts should be directed towards fighting the Houthi militia and repelling the Iranian expansion that it is seeking to implement. ''
During his meeting with a number of brigade leaders and southern military and security units, Zubaidi stressed that the stage should be taken seriously to reflect positively on the living conditions of citizens, security and stability in the south.
He stressed the need to maintain high readiness and maintain the mechanisms and means in the brigades and units that represent the effective force in maintaining the security and stability of the south.
The meeting reviewed, "the performance of the leadership of the Transitional Council in the framework of the Jeddah dialogue and the Riyadh agreement and the noble efforts of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach the desired results," according to the official website of the Council.
