Activists launch a campaign on Houthi communications minister

A widespread campaign of discontent by activists on social networking sites in which they criticized the communications minister of the Houthis after his talks about the Internet, which raised a lot of ridicule.
Activists circulated leaflets to the Minister of Communications after his press conference in Sanaa, saying that the reason for the weakness of the Internet in Yemen is the misuse and overuse of it and that Yemenis have to take training courses to learn how to use the Internet, pointing out that he visited five countries and they do not overuse the Internet, as do the YemenNet subscribers, and that the countries do not use the Internet a lot in sending emails and SMS and such light uses.
Activists circulated his saying on the websites stressing that he had no information or experience about the work he is doing. It was a shame for the Minister of Communications to speak so stupidly, and others mocked that the countries he visited had no presence or might be of his imagination.
Activists have launched a lot of campaigns against the Ministry of Communications and YemenNet earlier, expressing their dissatisfaction with the weakness of the Internet in Yemen significantly, retreating from all countries of the world, as well as to steal people, and YemenNet recently doubled the prices of Internet in Yemen, and activists accused that this is a clear exploitation of the need of citizens and siege them as the Internet is the only window that connects them to the world.
