Members of the brigade formed by Sheikh Hammoud al-Mikhlafi in Taiz are demanding their salaries, which Mikhlafi announced months ago that he received when he called on soldiers at the border to return to Taiz, informed sources said.

Al-Mikhlafi opened recruiting camps in Taiz and Marib, where 3,000 new recruits were registered two months ago at al-Huria Square through committees charged with Sheikh Hammoud Saeed and led by his brother Shawqi Saeed.

He announced, then, that everyone will be granted accession to the new brigade month salary of 60 thousand riyals, and then they told them half of the salary of 30 thousand riyals, and finally did not pay them any riyals, but took from each individual thousand riyals for registration fee, a total of 3 million riyals where about 3,000 people have registered.

The sources pointed out that the individuals were summoned on Tuesday to the training center of the Popular Mobilisation, and they were told they will be paid half their salary, and they were photographed and showcasing the full queue in the camp, and later they were informed that only 10,000 riyals per person and a salary would be paid after a week, but they were not paid even 10 thousand riyals transportation fees as they informed them.

Soldiers waited until 2pm for lunch, but the food was not enough, from the intensity of the stampede, the Nutrition Committee threw bags of meals from the car in a barbaric way that individuals raced against them when they fell on the ground.

The presence of the individuals was terminated after their filming, and the committee returned to Taiz, leaving the individuals to leave the training camp and be summoned later to begin training and discipline in the camp.
