The Muslim Brotherhood in Marib has intensified its attack on Al Muthanna Obeida tribe with a military and security campaign and fierce artillery shelling in the past few days against the claim of one of the tribal elders to compensate from the legitimacy of properties affected by the air strikes of the coalition with coordinates raised by legitimacy, according to the coalition's response to the claimant compensation Hadi bin Hussein.
The Muthanna carried out a tribal boycott in Al-Araqeen east of Marib to put pressure on authorities in Marib, but the Brotherhood's response was also swift and violent and went beyond all limits to waging a fierce war on the tribe and its areas.
The Muslim Brotherhood in Marib seeks to subjugate the Obeida tribe and subjugate it by force, because General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the Brotherhood leaders know that this tribe is an inherent party in the equation of tribal power in Marib, and therefore this force must be removed and neutralized its impact and even future danger to the remnants of the old regime who settled in Marib
The targeting of Ubaida, which sits on Wadi Marib and is close to the oil interests in Safir, is not the result of developments on the ground between the tribes and the units of the army and the security of the Muslim Brotherhood, but rather a blueprint for the dismantling of this tribe and the removal of its power factors, where Al-Ashraf, who are associated with Ubaida, have already been attacked because of the tribe, as well as the Al-Jalal and Muthanna families and the plan will continue as Marib remains a stronghold of the Muslim Brotherhood's military and political wing, investments and oil interests.
Perhaps the ugliest means of the Muslim Brotherhood used in this war against Obeida is the resort of Islah leaders to assign certain military and security units belonging to the tribes of Maribiya, including Obeida task of declaring war on the Muthanna to cause conflicts and hostilities between the tribal components in Marib.
This plan is the second phase of the conspiracy to dismantle and weaken the tribes of Marib, where since the beginning of its formation in Marib, the Muslim Brotherhood has distributed the power of the tribes and engaged them in fighting axes to weaken them where they have repeatedly gone to the fronts of Al-Bayda and Al-Jadaan in Nahm and Jaham in Sarwah fighting the Houthi militias while the Brotherhood is dedicated to weakening and subduing Obeida as a tribe of great and historical power.
Recently, the Muslim Brotherhood has stirred up tribal disputes between tribes and property, for example, granting Ashraf ownership of land in dispute with the Jahm family for years to ignite further conflicts between tribal components in the province.
Sheikh Diab bin Ma'ili, a symbol of Ubaida tribal and Marib in general, commented on the army's campaign on his tribe, saying that "igniting the conflict in safe and populated areas and the use of excessive violence is in the service of the destruction of the homeland to impose a new reality," considering that "is a sign of greater failure."
A war against the Muthanna family will not be the last, because the Brotherhood has a justification to ignite wars against tribes and implement their plan to control Marib and weaken all the living community forces that have been framed by tribal formation for decades.
