The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced today that it will transfer 128 Houthi militia prisoners from Saudi Arabia to Sana'a on Thursday.

On Tuesday, the Saudi-led Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced its intention to release 200 Houthi militia prisoners and allow patients to travel from Sanaa, a move that supports moves to end the conflict in Yemen.

"We welcome this initiative and are pleased that humanitarian considerations are being taken into account for families waiting for their loved ones to return home," the ICRC said in a comment on social media.
