Aden airport authorities stop passengers trying to smuggle a quantity of Qat

Security authorities at Aden International Airport arrested on Sunday morning a passenger with a quantity of powdered Qat after he concealed it professionally in the packaging of a tea product to prevent its discovery.
A security source at Aden International Airport said that the passenger (M.A.A), a resident of Ibb province, had planned to travel on a trip to Egypt, and he was caught when his bags were checked.
It added that the airport security found a quantity of powdered Qat inside the bags.
It pointed out that the person with the seizures had been transferred to the CID at Aden airport.
