People of Socotra sit-in to demand the dismissal of Governor Mahrous

The province of Socotra witnessed a mass demonstration in which Socotra community participated to demand the dismissal of Islah governor Fahmi Mahrous.
The demonstrators began a peaceful sit-in demanding the departure of the Islah authority and governor of Socotra Ramzi Mahrous from the governorate administration.
The Islah Authority sent military forces accompanied by armored vehicles, crews and tanks to terrorize the demonstrators who came out expressing their demands in peaceful ways.
The demonstrators erected about twenty tents in front of the gate of the province, stressing the continuation of the sit-in until the dismissal of the governor, who wants to drag Socotra to the square of escalation and division into gangs.
The demonstrators expressed confidence in the President of the Republic and the Arab coalition forces represented in Saudi Arabia and the UAE to stand with the demands of the people of Socotra.
