Sheikh Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi has identified Al-Hujaria as a place to build up and form a new army in Taiz, with 15,000 fighters divided into three brigades, with full support from Qatar, sources familiar with the the matter told newsyemen
The sources added that the three brigades will be formed by a brigade of soldiers returning from the fronts of Saada and Marib in coordination with the army leaders in Marib. Another brigade of graduates of training centers in Yafrus and Taiz city, members of the Popular Mobilization. The third brigade consists of the forces that belonged to Sheikh Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi at the beginning of the war in Taiz, in addition to new recruiters and others who will be recruited from the areas of Houthi in west of Taiz
Three areas have been identified for the three brigades, the first of which will be at the Hashd Popular Training Center at the Technical Institute. Its geographic framework will be the areas of Jabal Habashy, Almisrakh, Saber, Kalaibeh and Baireen. The second brigade will be positioned on the outskirts of Al Turbah city with a training site for the Hashd Popular militia that formed the fourth brigade of the Islah in Haigat Al 'Abbd
The sources said that the brother of Sheikh Hamoud Saeed, Colonel Shawqi Said, along with other military leaders differentiate between two sites of the third brigade, the first site near Al Maqtira, and the second site between Al Mashawila and Bani Omar
The sources pointed out that these brigades will be formed under the name of Elite Forces, and that the discussion is currently underway about issuing a decision to form it from President Hadi, and will start the procedures for its construction soon
