The UAE Red Crescent provided medicines to Mokha General Hospital on Saturday to cope with epidemics that could spread due to rainfall and saltwater ponds
Camp manager Sultan said the support of the hospital, which receives patients from several areas, will help deal with any epidemics caused by heavy rain and the resulting water pools
The manager of the health office in Amin Shazli, said the amount of drugs provided by the UAE Red Crescent are drugs for diets, diarrhea, cholera and malaria
He added that a limited number of suspected cases of cholera, diarrhea and dengue have been recorded as a result of the formation of water pools after rainfall
