Al-Jabriya in Mocha .. model of rural areas suffering from misery, deprivation due to militias' war

Rural areas, close to the locations of the Houthi militias, suffer from very difficult living conditions and deprive their inhabitants of the right to normal life
Relief organizations face difficulty in reaching these areas, turning them into isolated communities of poverty and social destitution
Al- Jabriya area in al-Wadnin mountain located in the north of al-Barh area in Taiz province, is one of the most areas suffering from lack of help due to the Houthi militias controlled the mountainous highlands overlooking al-Jabriya
No one knows the area and its people except those who dared to visit it in defiance of the mines and snipers of the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen
The inhabitants of this area live in the poorest conditions livelihoods when compared it to other rural villages that had been visited
The lack of food, drinking water and lack of medication among the population is one of the most prominent of these difficulties
When the Houthi militias settle near residential areas, civilians are vulnerable to targeting, said al-Haji Abdullah
He adds: the militias plant mines, spread snipers, and they are the reason of lack of food, hunger spreads, lack medication, diversify access to health centers, restrict the safe space of the population, and turn their lives into hell
He underlined that the Houthi militias caused the inhabitants in al- Jabriya to death, a family was hit by a Houthi shell, killing 15 people out of 16 were in a house about two years ago
The shell fell on the house and the explosion was so violent that the entire area was shaken, causing a number of casualties, explains Abdullah, who miraculously survived the bombing
The people of the area, through NewsYemen, appealed to the relief organization to help them to get out of their difficult living conditions
