Girl killed, eight others injured in Houthi bullets, shells in Taiz city

A girl was killed by a Houthi sniper shot, and eight others were wounded by artillery shelling on residential areas in Taiz city, a local source said to NewsYemen.
The source added that the girl Hend Sajed al-Areqi, 16, was shot dead by the Houthi sniper in al-Haseb neighborhood inside her house in Taiz city.
In a related context, eight civilians, including two children, were injured by the Houthi shelling in the past few hours in al-Mawshaki, al-Rawdah, al-Dhabuoah and Wadi al-Qadi neighborhoods in Taiz.
The Houthi militias have escalated shelling in the past few hours on residential areas after the fighting stopped on the outskirts of Taiz city.
