Houthis' projectile hit, amputate Mohammed's left hand in Taiz

Taiz is still besieging for four years by the Houthi militias and on, the Houthi militias still commit war crimes against civilians, in particular against children and women. The militias pound Taiz neighborhoods indiscriminately. The militias shot and kill civilians in Taiz province.   

The child " Mohammed AbdulQawi Ghaleb al-Shara'bi", 6, of the people of Shara'b al-Rawnah district in Taiz province, he was injured by the Houthi projectile late Wednesday.

After his injury, the family rushed him to the Military Hospital and the blood flowed from his left hand in an effort to save him. The Houthi shrapnel, however, took a large part of his left hand.

According to physicians, the shell took the bone completely from the shoulderو and only kept parts of the flesh holding it, pointing out that the child also suffered sporadic injuries to his body.

Mohammed's family, including Mohammed himself displaced with his family in their house in the old Airport of Taiz area, west of Taiz after the martyrdom of his cousin Basmah Razzaz who the second was shot and killed by the Houthi sniper on June, 2nd, 2019.

The family chose al-Jahmalia area as a temporary residence to escape the Houthi sniping. However, a mortar shell fired by the Houthi militias stationed in al-Salal hill, causing the the amputation of Mohammed's left hand.

Mohammed said to a Newsyemen editor that " "I never expected that I would walk covering my hand to avoid people's eyes.

"It is worth to mention it that about 8 martyrs and 12 wounded civilians, mostly children, were shot dead by the Houthi snipers since the beginning of June.
