Explosive device kills soldier of Security Belt Forces in al-Mahfad, Abyan

Mahdi Saleh al-Hanashi, a member of the Security Belt Forces, was martyred in al-Mahfad district in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
An improvised explosive device was planted by unknown gunmen are believed to be linked with al-Qaeda in al-Habadh area in the province, killing the soldier al-Hanashi.
From time to time, the Mahfad district experiences terrorist operations by al-Qaeda elements, targeting Security Belt Forces and the Rapid intervention Forces.
