Aden Airport staff stages protest, rejects Transport minister' decree

Aden Airport Employees and workers staged a protest outside Aden Aviation Authority branch on Tuesday, rejecting a decision of Transport Minister Saleh al-Jubwani.
The Minister al-Jubwani on June, 17 issued a ministerial decree appointing and assigning Aden Undersecretary Authority Undersecretary to run the airport as an Acting Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
The protesters carried banners and slogans calling for the dismissal of the Transport Minister, rejecting the minister's decree as well as denouncing the staff's rights.
A Union source at Aden International Airport confirmed to NewsYemen that the legal protest and refusal procedures would continue until the air traffic to be stopped at Aden airport.
