Houthis kill 2,720 civilians, injure 13,494 since March 2015 in Taiz

The Human Rights Office in Taiz documented 30,494 violations committed by the Houthi militias - the Iran's arm in Yemen - against civilians since the beginning of the war in the province.
According to statistics issued by the Human Rights Office in Taiz, 2,720 civilians were killed and 13,944 were injured, mostly children and women, between March 2015 and June 15, 2019.
The Houthi militias kidnapped 705 civilians and displaced 5,595 civilians. In addition, 7,955 houses were completely and partially destroyed in the province.
The Office pointed out that these statistics are not final and could be increased as a result of violations in areas held by the Houthi militias, some cases have not been reported by the victims because of the fear of the militias' retaliation.
