Houthi shelling south of al-Hodeida leaves injuries, damage among civilians' properties

The Houthi militias launched large shelling on al-Jabalia district, south of al-Hodeida province, western Yemen, on Monday.

Houthi escalation also included al-Faza area along the coastline, following a similar escalation and attempts to sneak into sites of the Joint Resistance Forces in al-Hodeida city.

Units of al-Amaleqa brigades on Monday morning repulsed a Houthi attempt to infiltrate into sites in al-Jabalia front amid heavy shelling.

The Houthi shelling on Sunday destroyed a house in the center of al-Tuhaita district, while other houses were substantially damaged to various degrees.

Eyewitnesses and residents said that the house of Hussein Hassan Shart and his son Anwar were shelled by a mortar shell that exploded inside the house, causing extensive damage and injuries among the residents. A mother was faint./She fell down in a faint.

The terrorist militias randomly shelled residential neighborhoods in Hays district, injuring a woman in her chest, who was rushed for treatment in the field hospital.

In another direction, the Houthi militias backed by Iran continue targeting al-Mazareq villages and al-Jah farms in Bait al-Faqih district in al-Hodeida province.
