Popular Crowd of Islah party arrests Martyrs' relatives women in Taiz

The Brotherhood Popular Crowd militias, backed by security forces, arrested three women in al-Jumhori neighborhood in Taiz province, a local source told Newsyemen on Friday.

The source added that the Popular Crowd and Security Forces arrested three women of Dhaiban family in the neighborhood, without any justification to arrest them, pointing out that their fate were still unknown.

According to the source, the detainees are mothers and relatives of martyrs of the Popular Resistance.

Dhaiban's family is one of the most famous and the first family had lived in al-Jahmaleya area then it moved into al-Jumhori neighborhood.

The Houthi militias blew up Dhaiban's family house in al-Jahmaleya in 2015 amid at supporting the Popular Resistance in the city.

At least six fighters of the family were killed in military clashes against the Houthi militias.

The source pointed out that the arrest of the three women comes as part of the ongoing campaign violations committed by the Brotherhood militias against Abu Abbas battalions south of Taiz province.

The women's detention came after fabricating the accusations against the family, the source said, adding storming houses and arresting the women to unknown destinations came without judicial orders.

During the Friday sermon, Imams expressed their condemnation of the arrest, and launched a campaign of signatures to demand their release.
