A spokesman of al-Amaleqa brigades on Monday said that around eight Houthi gunmen were killed or injured in militias' attempt to sneak into al-Duraihemi district, south of al-Hodeida province.
A solider of al-Amaleqa forces was killed, and five others were injured in the Houthi shelling east of al-Duraihemi district in al-Hodeida.
Al-Amaleqa spokesman said that the armed militias pounded sites of al-Amaleqa east of al-Duraihemi, killing a solider and injuring five others.
The Houthi militias seek to destroy the international peace efforts and prove that the militias backed by Iran are enemy of peace in al-Hodeida and in whole Yemen, al-Mahjami said.
He added that the armed militias carry the Iranian-funded terrorism project in the area.
