5th Military Region moves in Abs district in Hajjah, captures 45 Houthis

The Fifth Military Region on Saturday presented pictures of Houthi fighters on its Facebook page, saying that 45 Houthis have been captured in battles over the past two days in Abs area in Hajjah province, including five wounded.
The military region said that during the last two days, the National Army captured dozens of Houthi militias' members in a military operation in Abs in Hajjah, north-west of Yemen.
The army liberated a number of villages and sites in Bani Hassan district in Abs district, where fierce battles have taken place against the Houthi militias.
A number of elements of the Houthi militias have been killed and wounded, including field leader, Mahdi Abdullah al-Muayyad, and his followers.
Abs district is experiencing fierce battles between the forces of the Fifth Military region and the Houthi militias for the third day in a row, amid a major military advance of the National Army forces. .
