Shabwa Elite forces seizes heavy weapons after storming al-Qaeda stronghold in Markha

Shabwa Elite Forces apprehended on Wednesday heavy weapons, mines and improvised explosive devices in Markha, Khorra, Abdan villages in Shabwa province in conjunction with a military operation, the White Mountains, to cleanse areas of al-Qaeda elements.
According to a military source, the Elite forces seized guns and Katyusha rockets as well, indicating that the seizure of quantities come in the context of the military operation launched by Shabwa Elite forces to purge sites in Markha and Nusab from al-Qaeda.
