Local residents said on Saturday that the Houthi militias targeted the house of Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, the finance minister at the Houthi government in al-Hodeida province.

The residents added to Newsyemen that the armed militias hit Maqbouli's house with a mortar's shell in al-Hunod Market downtown al-Hodeida.

The mortar's shell caused heavy damage to the house, without given further information about human victims.

The Houthi militias had dismissed Dr. Hussein Maqbouli from office as a deputy prime minister, a finance minister in the militias' unrecognized government.

The armed militias appointed one of its close militias to and more allied to them.

The sources said to Newsyemen that the differences over the amounts collected from taxes is the first main reason behind the dismissal of Dr. Hussein Maqbouli.
