Taiz governor exercises job on WhatsApp

The governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan is still living outside Taiz, and he does not start working at office in the province for more than two months of his appointment as a successor to Dr. Amin Ahmed Mahmoud.
His delaying to run Taiz office became an ironic subject. He is known as the WhatsApp governor by the people of Taiz because he depends upon the program for sending cables of condolences and congratulations.
After his appointment as the governor, Shamsan spent January travelling from Riyadh and Cairo. In February, he stayed in the interim Capital Aden, a source said to Newsyemen.
The source added that there are political, security and financial reasons to prevent the arrival of Taiz governor, confirming that the governor's disappointment of the Presidency and the government that gave him promises to support his tasks in the province, the two, the Presidency, and the government did not respond to him as he was expected.
After his arrival in Aden, the governor Nabil Shamsan has only held routine meetings with government officials and representatives of international and regional aid organizations.
In this regard, a source close to the governor said to Newsyemen that he had to stay in Aden to complete many files as well as to get supplies and funds for important projects.
Officials at local authority attributed the delay that the Islah Party's Power intends to mix security papers with its indirect demands get funds for a new battle amounted to "five billion Yemeni riyals".
Previous demands had been passed by the Islah Party in which the Party obtained S.R 30 million through Taiz governor Ali al-Ma'amari, and Y.R three billion after the appointment of the governor Amin Mahmoud. The Party did not liberate any site, causing the Arab Coalition lack of confidence at the military leaders affiliated to Islah in Taiz.
The Party justified the governor's absence at his office in Taiz in case he would receive an armored vehicle to protect himself against any possible attack upon his arrival in the city of Taiz.
