Three soldiers killed in IED blast in Abyan

Three soldiers of the Security Belt Forces were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) in al-Mahfad in Abyan province, security sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said that the IED exploded at the military vehicle north the district, killing the three and injuring others.
The terrorist attacks in al-Mahfad came for response to the security crackdown carried out by the Security Belt Forces that succeeded on expelling al-Qaeda militants who controlled the district.
The forces of the Belt launched a wide security campaign supported by the Arab Coalition at the end of January to hunt down individuals associated with al-Qaeda in Abyan province.
